The latest regional labour market report card from the team at BMO Economics has some good news for Canadian job seekers in general and those in one New Brunswick city in particular.
The data shows that employment rose by over 340,000 jobs across the country in the third quarter of this year, with all provinces seeing gains in employment.
Five Ontario cities dominate the top ten list of regions for hiring in Canada right now as the country emerges from the lingering effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, closer to home Moncton also makes the cut of leading cities for job creation.

While BMO’s report is titled “Big City Bounceback,” some of the country’s largest municipalities fail to make the top 10, with Montreal and Toronto coming in at the 12th and 15th spots respectively of the 33 regions ranked.
